Where we used to get the model for this year or last year at aÂ
cheaper price, Apple now provides three distinct Apple Watch versions with various pricing ranges and choices.Â
In this piece I review the one in the centre, the brand-new Apple Watch SE, but not very newÂ
inside. It’s significantly less than the flagship Series6 and not that much more costly than the ageing Series3 . Â
SE is a new Apple model practically, but it’sÂ
not entirely new inside and outside, much like iPhone SE.Â
In theory, it’s the same thing as the 2018 4 Series except only twoÂ
small differences: The SE can’t measure your ECG but it has a constantly improved altimeter.Â
The latter may not have any effect on yourÂ
use, but for some people the former may be significant.
